The fall of the iron curtain is an event worth commemorating. Highly visible, rich in geopolitical symbols, and infinitely adaptable, this logo system raised awareness of the many celebrations that took place throughout Europe in 2009.

Celebrating creativity and innovation
Creativity and Innovation in Lifelong Learning, a high-level European programme, needed a strong and inspiring visual identity to unify local initiatives across borders. Dynamic shapes, inspired by origami, bold colours, and playful type translated the Union’s varicoloured and multi-faceted approach to this complex issue.

European women have contributed a great deal to science but their efforts have seldom been recognised. Bold type treatments speak as loudly and clearly as they deserve to be spoken of, making this commemorative book an important tool in the fight for equality.
